- Description
-
Based on a legend created by Katrina Trask, co-founder of Yaddo, the window depicts a maiden being carried through the woods by the great Indian hero Ottawawa.
The window was buckling as a result of a previous re-leading program. Many pieces of glass broke as the window proceeded to fold and failing leads caused pieces of glass to come free from the window. The entire panel was completely unleaded, glass cleaned and restored before our re-lead.
Since the original leading program no longer existed, the new lead pattern was based on leading techniques of the Tiffany Studios.
